HERMAN WORK Contacts
Privacy Policy
Effective: September 3, 2026
Purpose and scope
HERMAN WORK Contacts is a private productivity and workflow tool operated solely for its owner's work. It is not offered as a public service and has no public user registration.
Google data accessed
The tool requests read-only access to the owner's Google Contacts through the Google People API. It may read contact identifiers, names, email addresses, phone numbers, organizations, addresses, and other contact fields returned by the API that are needed to identify and use work contacts.
How Google data is used
Google Contacts data is used only to maintain a private contact suggestion pool and to let the owner select or complete a contact in HERMAN WORK. The tool does not create, modify, or delete contacts in Google Contacts.
Storage and security
Contact data and OAuth credentials are stored and processed on a privately controlled NAS. Reasonable technical safeguards are used to restrict access. This public information site does not receive Google Contacts data, use cookies, or run analytics.
Sharing and sale
Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, transferred to data brokers, or shared with third parties. It is used only by the owner within HERMAN WORK for the purpose described above.
Retention, deletion, and access revocation
The local mirror is refreshed to reflect the connected Google Contacts account, and data that is no longer required may be removed. The owner may revoke the tool's Google access at any time in Google Account security settings and may delete the locally stored mirror.
Google API policy
Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Changes
This policy may be updated if the tool's data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
